I've had an idea...

An alternative to using the pwnagetool, still works by loading a custom firmware. The difference/advantage to my idea is its simplicity. The goal is to make it as simple as possible, compared to pwnage where you  have to create your own custom ipsw. The way this "jailbreak" would be achieved is pretty simple:

1. I plan on creating a pwned firmware. The important modification would be adding a cracked mobileinstallation file.

2. To jailbreak you would just load this custom firmware onto your phone/ipod

3. Because of its cracked mobile installation file, ipas and .apps downloaded from the internet could be opened in itunes and then synced to  your device.

THIS IS NOT A WAY TO ILLEGALLY GET CRACKED APPS

This would allow you to load any *signed* app onto your device. Signing apps is very simple, and I plan on posting signed jailbreak apps on this site, available to download. Now I've also posted a guide to turning jailbreak apps into ipa's. For anyone who converts some apps using the guide, I'd like to post download links here so this can be the overall source for jailbreak ipa's.

The simplicity here is that anyone can easily load this firmware onto their device, and they would be able to download apps they wanted from my site, or other places...

NONE of this would be possible without the dev team and their pwnagetool. Although I have creating this idea, the dev team has already done all the work for it. Dont forget they make jailbreaking possible. 

With mobileinstallation I was able to drag macman into itunes and sync it to my phone as an ipa(dont forget it was signed)
